Tshwane S. - EC Windbreakers 104-71 The game between Top Four teams took place in Tshwane. host Suns (1-0) smashed Windbreakers (0-2) 104-71. Suns dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Windbreakers' 44. Suns forced 24 Windbreakers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for DR Congolese power forward Emmanuel Shine (199-1994) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Gabonese swingman Gleen Bidza (193-1996) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Suns players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Julian Wright (196-1990) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and Olebogang Matabane scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns is looking forward to face Zebras (#4) in Kimberley in the next round. Windbreakers will have a break next round.
